Sociologists now say there is a new era of life – the post-college age.
If you’re 40 years old or younger, you’re probably familiar with this new lifestyle. You may be 28 and single and your best friend is 28, married with 3 kids. It’s common. Most people are marrying much older and many are waiting even longer for kids, while others get married and have kids right away.
For some it’s one of the most confusing and tiring times of life. To top it off, most separate themselves from God during the process at probably the time they need Him the most. But isn’t that how life works.
The good news is, God still wants a relationship with you – even in this confusing time. That’s what Post-college ministry at PFB is all about.
Here’s ways to get involved with post-college ministry on a weekly basis:
1. Over the last several years God has created a place for post-college people to find community and serve Him together. Join for our young adult Wednesday night service at 7pm in the Worship Center. You can check it out on the web at www.theRising.org.
2. Many of our post-college crowd also attend the 11:11am Sunday morning worship service.
3. Several post-college small groups meet throughout the week. These include men’s, women’s, and married groups – contact josh@pfblive.tv to join a group.
4. There are also several Sunday morning, Sunday school classes reaching the post-college age, including: Catalyst, Fusion, The Upper Room, Biblical Marriage, and several others.
We’re excited about what God’s doing with post-college ministry at PFB and can’t wait for you to get involved!
